A true wear-forever piece, our Edi shirt is a feminine take on classic white shirting. Cut with a soft gathering at the bust to flatter all shapes, its neat silhouette is contrasted with dramatic full sleeves and lace detailing on the collars. Made from Supima cotton blended with environmentally friendlier bamboo, and finished with natural cream corozo buttons, it’s an essential that can be styled up or down.

'Saywood Studio has provided me with some lifetime pieces. I have the Edi shirt in white, and it might just be my most versatile shirt in the wardrobe. The balloon sleeve and the detailing on the collar is perfect for a classic white shirt with a bit of personality! I can wear it to work.. but it’s also come on some nights out with me too! Super soft and comfortable!' Customer Review

Wash less, love always

We recommend hanging your shirt to air outdoors, rather than washing after every wear. This way, it will last longer and also have a lower environmental impact. Spot clean marks with warm soapy water, and when it does need a wash, follow our care advice:

  • Machine wash 30 degrees
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Medium iron
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry

A note on our bamboo blend and corozo buttons.

Our Edi shirt contains bamboo, which is better for the environment compared to other plants because it requires less water and is pest resilient. Our fabric is also certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for our buttons, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice.
