Finished with our signature embroidered flower and crafted from surplus production fabric—nothing wasted, everything considered. Woven by heritage artisans in Ibara, Okayama, using traditional shuttle looms and dyed with natural indigo, this is Japanese denim with provenance. Cut and sewn by hand in our London studio, the Japanese Denim Apron is a considered luxury accessory—beautifully made, purposefully designed, and a gift worth giving to the gardener, artist or maker in your life.

Crafted from premium Japanese denim that's been woven by artisans, at a small craft enterprise, using traditional techniques in Ibara, Okayama, Japan - the 'birthplace of denim'. Dyed using natural indigo, our cotton is also certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin.

It's not just the cloth we consider, but the trimmings too. The elastane is made form organic cotton and plant-based rubber, so of your scrunchie ever meets the earth, it will biodegrade considerately to the planet.
