A fresh take on our best selling shirt, the new colourblocked Lela Shirt is designed in pastel pink and orange, for a soft vibrant look. With a fun take on classic shirting, the boxy silhouette of the Lela drapes beautifully of your body, in the perfect proportions, giving you the throw-on-and-go ease of dressing.

Crafted in soft clean cotton, the crisp fabric gives that elevated look, whilst the essential Saywood details keep you rediscovering this piece over and over; tonal topstitching, subtle herringbone tape trims the pocket corners, mini side splits at the hem add ease, whilst the box pleat in the back below the contrast yoke fans the shirt out into a beautiful a-line shape cut to flatter. Trimmed with natural corozo buttons to fasten.

Wash less, love always

We recommend hanging your shirt to air outdoors, rather than washing after every wear. This way, it will last longer and also have a lower environmental impact. Spot clean marks with warm soapy water, and when it does need a wash, follow our care advice:

  • Machine wash 30 degrees
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Medium iron
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry

 

A note on our cotton and corozo buttons

Our Lela shirt has been made super soft cotton, certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for our buttons, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice.

This beautiful shirt was made in the UK, in London, by Apparel Tasker, a short distance from our studio; keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum and supporting our local manufacturing industry.
