A dressier take on the classic button-down, our Marie a-line blouse comes with lace-trimmed gathered frilled cuffs and soft gathering at the neck. In addition, 11 of these blouses will be limited edition and finished with a beautiful vintage glass textured button at the neck. Cut in a gentle A-line silhouette and finished with a half placket, it’s a wardrobe mainstay.

Holding true to our ethos of sustainability, our blouse is made in London to lower our carbon footprint, using recycled cotton from the Canclini mill in Italy. It’s also finished with environmentally friendlier corozo buttons.

Also available in white and pink check.

Wash less, love always

We recommend hanging your blouse to air outdoors, rather than washing after every wear. This way, it will last longer and also have a lower environmental impact. Spot clean marks with warm soapy water, and when it does need a wash, follow our care advice:

  • Machine wash 30 degrees
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Medium iron
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry

A note on our recycled cotton and corozo buttons

Our Marie blouse uses recycled cotton sourced from the Canclini mill in Italy; reusing waste cotton textile. It’s made in London by Apparel Tasker, which, as a London-based brand, reduces our carbon footprint.

Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, our cotton is completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for our buttons, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice.
