Amelia Full Length Trousers in Caramel Corduroy

A truly timeless piece designed to feel like luxury for you to rewear and rewear over and over again. Cut in the softest organic cotton corduroy in a luxe rich caramel tone, and finished with all the special details akin to Saywood; from the berry red stripe deep pocket bags for true functionality, topstitching, a V-shaped cut out at the centre of the back waist, to our signature embroidered flower, our trademark nod to nature.

The perfect tailored structure around the bum, hips and waist is cut to flatter, fanning out into a wide leg. With extra length hidden in the hem turn up for adjustability. Trimmed with a nickel-free silver zip fly, corozo jigger button and metal fly clips to fasten.

Clothing Care | Wash less, love always

We recommend hanging your trousers to air outdoors, rather than washing after every wear. This way, they will last longer and also have a lower environmental impact. Spot clean marks with warm soapy water, and when it does need a wash, follow our care advice:

- Machine wash 30 degrees
- Wash with similar colours
- Low iron
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry

A note on our organic cotton and corozo buttons

Our Amelia Full Length Trousers are cut from a beautifully luxe GOTs certified organic cotton corduroy from Italian mill Duca Visconti, based just outside Milan. Duca Visconti have been masters of corduroy since 1838, and still handcut the cord for a beautifully luxe finish; one of the only mills still using this traditional hand finishing technique. The trousers are handmade in the UK, in North East London at luxury manufacturer MAES, just down the road from the Saywood studio, keeping our carbon footprint minimal.

Our cloth is also certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for the button on the zipper, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice. It’s also biodegradable. The zipper is nickel free and the tape made from recycled polyester.

Small Items: £3.95 - For small-item orders that fit within our envelope packaging, including up to four scrunchies. Orders that require a box are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery at £10.
