Patchworked in a colourful olive green and berry red stripe, the scrunchie is handmade in our London studio from the offcuts and surplus cloth from our Frances Shirt and Bessie Shorts production; nothing goes to waste at Saywood. Crafted with organic cotton and plant-based elastane to ensure that the inside of your scrunchie is every bit as good as the outside.

Composition: Berry Red Stripe 100% Cotton; Olive Green 47% Viscose 35% Linen 18% Cotton, from designer deadstock cloth
Elastic: 60% Organic Cotton, 40% Natural Rubber; biodegradable

Machine washable at 30 degrees

Crafted using offcuts from our Frances Shirt and Bessie Shorts production, both cloths are from designer deastock, sourced from suppliers who collect surplus cloth directly from fashion houses. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin.

It's not just the cloth we consider, but the trimmings too. The elastane is made form organic cotton and plant-based rubber, so of your scrunchie ever meets the earth, it will biodegrade considerately to the planet.
